Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Introduces Urogynecology Specialty

 Specializing in Urogynecology for Women’s Urological Health

 

Bryan, Ohio, August 5, 2020 - Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers (CHWC) is proud to begin offering urogynecology to patients as a new service. This specialty clinic provides care for women’s pelvic problems, women’s urology concerns, and reproductive system issues.

“In our department, we handle a variety of female urogynecology concerns, so that women can get the relief that they are looking for,” explains Dr. Ahmed El-Zawahry. Dr. El-Zawahry received his medical degree from Asyut University in Egypt and completed a urology residency at Asyut University in Egypt. He also went on to complete a urology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Dr. El-Zawahry is a board-certified urologist who focused on a fellowship in female urology, urogynecology, urodynamics, neurourology and genitourinary reconstruction. Dr. El-Zawahry works at the CHWC Urology Clinic at Bryan Hospital and Archbold Medical Center to provide these services.

Some of the urogynecology services currently offered at the CHWC Urology Clinic include treatment for pelvic organ prolapse and mesh issues, female sexual dysfunction, female stress incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Our team also specializes in treating a wide range of urology issues for men and women, such as urinary tract infections, bladder and kidney stones, overactive bladder, incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, cancers of the bladder and kidney, interstitial cystitis, fistulas, genital warts and many others. Anyone who struggles with these and other urological issues can benefit from the services provided at our clinic.
